Tom Fox is a composer/producer, songwriter, beatmaker, guitar player and Creative Director of music production company The Sound Room. He composes out of his studio in Bayswater, working on Cubase and Logic with numerous plugins and an old Fender Telecaster running through a Fender Bassman for those retro nubeat funk moments....\n\nThe Sound Room are Tom Fox and Marshall Smith and they write music for film/TV, advertising and artists and bands.\n\nKey film/TV clients include: Morgan Freeman & ESPN, BBC, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, BSkyB, ABC, Channel 10, SBS, SABC, TVNZ, TV3 and Maori TV amongst many others.\n\nTheir tracks have been featured in the USA, UK and Europe on channels like MTV, Nickelodeon, VH-1, Discovery and Fox and have been recorded by the London Philharmonic Orchestra with David Arnold (James Bond, Massive Attack…).\n\nThey composed the Lotto and Big Wednesday themes for NZ Lotteries along with music and sound design for advertising, games, ebooks, ringtones, animation for clients such as Annabel Langbein, Auckland Art Gallery, Genesis Energy, Mobil, Crown Lager, Metropolitan Life, United Travel, The Globe Theatre (UK), The Edge, Cirkus Animation, Pixelthis and Vodafone.\n\nThe Sound Room has a network of international publishing deals with over 900 songs published and regularly collaborates with artists and writers all over the world.\n\nThe Sound Room prides itself on working with warmth, integrity and honesty; creating high quality music on time and on budget for clients big or small.
