Composer and sound editor Emile de la Rey has been a part of the Wellington, New Zealand audio post-production community since 2008.
He is a 2019 MPSE Golden Reel Award winner, along with the rest of the sound editing team, for his work on Peter Jackson’s “They Shall Not Grow Old”, in the role of Supervising Dialogue Editor. He is also a 2017 AACTA award nominee for Best Sound in Television along with the rest of his team for their work on ABC’s “Cleverman” series, and a 2015 APRA award nominee for “Best Original Music in a Series” as composer for Gaylene Preston’s “Hope and Wire” series.
