Dave is a world renowned sound designer who has worked on many projects over the years from short films to block busters i.e. The Hobbit Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, District 9 and many more. He has been nominated and won several awards for sound design including a BAFTA nomination for District 9. Dave is also a member of AMPAS.\n\nHis roots are in music composition and he started his career in the early 90's at The University of Waikato - Music Department, as a technician and composer for various university projects and local theatre companies. He has kept composing on smaller projects during his 25 years as a sound designer and has been nominated for several awards for his music and a win at the New Zealand Film and TV award for best original music in a documentary series.\n\nDave is now focusing his attention on composing and is confident in tackling any size or style project you may have. He is interested in music for film, television, games, installations and advertising.
